The original foodies!
An Illinois native, Kerry is the the cheer and charm of the Humble Foodie kitchens. She expresses her culinary artistry through colorful cupcakes with carefully chosen liners, sprinkles, and decorative elements. Her personality-filled cupcakes brighten any occasion. Many of Kerry’s non-dessert recipes are vegetarian dishes that are satisfyingly quick to make after a long day at work.
Alicia
Alicia loves to experiment with food, recipes, and projects in self-sufficiency. From cultivating to canning, from standard American fare to Paleo feasts, she wants to try it all. Her personal food philosophy is that simple ingredients can yield the most stunning meals. To that end, Alicia’s recipes often center on fresh vegetables, lean meats, and new ingredients discovered at the farmer’s market or in the garden.
Devin’s enthusiasm and encouragement inspired Kerry and Alicia to start the Humble Foodie in October of 2011. She is the official taste tester and cheerleader of the Humble Foodie. Fittingly, her food philosophy is, “if you cook it, I’ll eat it.”
