But why is the pumpkin pie spice gone?!

pumpkin pie spice

pumpkin spice bulk recipe: 4 tablespoons cinnamon + 4 teaspoons nutmeg + 3 teaspoons ginger + 3 teaspoons allspice; whir it all up and add a pinch to everything

I add a pinch to coffee beans after grinding to brew my morning coffee.

It lends a fall twist to coconut whipped cream (which is amazing on berries, crisps, and anything else you can think of.)

I’ve been eating way too many pumpkin pancakes from Practical Paleo.

My ridiculous squash hoarding problem needed to be addressed, so I used one up by baking a Hubba Hubba Crumble.

But with Thanksgiving coming up soon, it’s time to mix up another jar full of my favorite fall spice blend! What do you have on the menu this season?

About Humble Foodie

While we both love to eat well, life as AmeriCorps volunteers doesn’t afford us the budget to try every new restaurant and type of cuisine. With many post-graduate expenses and limited financial resources, what’s a foodie to do? The answer is here, at The Humble Foodie. Instead of spending our hard-earned cash paying other people to cook for us, we’re spending as frugally as possible making delicious meals at home.
